CHAPTER OF MBOHO MKPARAWA IBIBIO
FORMATION OF THE CHAPTER: APRIL 25, 1993: The then National President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Akparawa Okon Bassey Imerh, who in his address to the National convention of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio on Sunday April, 25 1993 implored the indigenes of Nsit Ubium Local Government Area to team up and work towards the establishment of a Chapter of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio as this Local Government was the only core Ibibio Local Government Area without a Chapter of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio. This was a challenge; Akparawa Abraham Anyang, Akparawa (Dr) Chris Enoch and Akparawa Emmanuel P. Udoh took upon themselves to start co-ordination activities immediately 7th JULY,1993: That same year, the first meeting was held at CKS Primary School, Ikot Edibon on the 7th July,1993 at Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.
JUNE, 1994: Election was conducted by the National Officers to elect the first Chapter Executive of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Nsit Ubium on June, 1994. Barley one year a task was given to the indigenes of the Local Government. They worked assiduously to achieve the set goal under one year. THOSE ELECTED WERE: Akparawa Emmanuel P. Udoh – Chairman Akparawa Raymond T. Ekpo – Vice Chairman Akparawa (late) Akaninyene Udoumana – Secretary Akparawa Peter W. Ntekop – Assistant Secretary Akparawa Tony Ekwere – Treasurer Akparawa Inyang Anyang – Financial Secretary Akparawa Emmanuel J. Essien – Publicity Secretary Akparawa Charles Udoebuk – Auditor Akparawa Akpan S. Ekpo – Provost
The meeting venue was CKS Primary School, Ikot Edibon The meeting day was fixed for every last Sunday of the month which is maintained till date. INAUGURATION/INDUCTION: 1st APRIL, 1995. The National President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio then, Akparawa, Udo Sam Umoatan was on ground to inaugurate the Chapter and inducted the first founding members of the Chapter. This also saw the above Executive Officers as the first Executive for the Chapter.
28TH SEPTEMBER,1996 The Akparawa Emmanuel P. Udoh led Executive was dissolved on completion of the two years term mandate at that time. ELECTION WAS HELD, THE FOLLOWING OFFICERS WERE ELECTED; Akparawa Emmanuel J. Essien – Chairman Akparawa Nse Udom (1000) – Vice Chairman Akparawa Peter N. Ntekop – Secretary Akparawa George E. Inyang – Assistant Secretary Akparawa Essien Ayanam – Treasurer Akparawa Charles Udoebuk – Auditor Akparawa-anwan Margaret Ibiok – Women Leader Akparawa Akpan S. Ekpo – Welfare Officer Akparawa (Late) Emmanuel E. Udoh – Publicity Secretary Akparawa Dominic Adolf – Provost
The meeting venue was moved from CKS Primary School, Ikot Edibon to Local Government Secretariat Canteen, Ikot Edibon.
29th SEPTEMBER, 1998; Another election was held. It was conducted by the National Officers, led by Akparawa Mike Ekpenyong from Ikot Ekpene Chapter which saw Akparawa Emmanuel Essien handed a second term mandate as Chairman.
MINORS CHANGES WERE EFFECTED IN HIS CABINET

The meeting venue was moved to Comprehensive Secondary School, Ndiya because of the deplorable condition of road at the time between Ndiya and the Local Government Headquarters, Ikot Edibon.
SUNDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER 2001 Election was conducted by National Officers Akparawa Emmanuel Alfred was elected Chairman. The following Executive Officers were also elected.

Akparawa Emmanuel Alfred bagged the Award of the BEST CHAPTER of the year, during the Obong Sampson Udo Etuk Annual Lecture/Excellence Awards during his tenure.
Akparawa Emmanuel Alfred Executives piloted the affairs of Nsit Ubium Chapter of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, until;
OCTOBER 2004; When the Central Working Committee (CWC) decided that his Vice, Akparawa Inyang Anyang be sworn in to take over and run the run as new Chairman of the Chapter till.
29TH OCTOBER 2006. Elections were conducted by National Officers led by Akparawa (Teacher) Nseabasi J. Efik from Eket Chapter. (Before now meeting venue was changed from Comprehensive Secondary School, Ndiya to Adam & Eve Guest House, Ndiya, Nsit Ubium. The meeting venue we maintain till date)

Akparawa Inyang Anyang, during his stay as the Chapter Chairman, was Awarded, the BEST CHAPTER CHAIRMAN of the year, during the Obong Sampson Udo Etuk Annual Lecture/Excellence Awards. PHYSICAL INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE CHAPTER. Akparawa Inyang Anyang, set up a committee to liaise with the Local Government Council of Nsit Ubium, led by Akparawa (Suyr) Chris Ekpo for possible donation of land for our secretariat. THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS WERE: Akparawa Charles Udoebuk Akparawa Essien Ayanam Akparawa Emmanuel Ntekop The Local Government Council donated a piece of Land to the Chapter along Enen Nsit Road, Ikot Edibon. Though, it has not been officially handed over to Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Nsit Ubium Chapter.
However, the Chapter has surveyed the land and is working assiduously towards erecting a befitting secretariat for herself.
31ST OCTOBER, 2010

These are the current Executives on ground piloting the affairs of the Chapter till date.
27TH MAY, 2012 The Chapter hosted the Presidential entourage led by the then International President Akparawa (Elder) Nse Ubeh, on routine Chapter visitation. It was a landmark occasion, aimed at uniting the Chapter and strengthening the members. The immediate past Chapter Chairman Akparawa Inyang Anyang, hosted/treated the Presidency to an elaborate reception.
At the end of the visit, the President admonished the Chapter Members, prayed and re-dedicated the members to God for greater performance, both in Chapter and National outings. Ever since then affairs of the Chapter had been going on smoothly, devoid of any hitch or conflict of interest.
CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY: The Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio, Nsit Ubium Chapter registered, Co-operative Society and obtained a Certificate, from Bureau of Co-operative Development. Akwa Ibom State. The name of our Co-operative Society is known as Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio (Nsit Ubium) Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited.
PROJECT AT HAND BY THE CHAPTER We are committed to build a befitting Secretariat for the Chapter. But the level of work at the site is handful, due to the financial constraints by the Chapter. REPRESENTATION OF NSIT UBIUM CHAPTER AT THE NATIONAL EXCO, CWC.
It is on record that during the Mkparawa Godwin Ntukudeh/Sylvester Akpan led National Exco, Akparawa-anwan Margaret Ibiok, Member of Nist Ubium Chapter, emerged as National Treasurer. She Metamorphosed into the Deputy Secretary General. An office she kept till January 2008, when she honorably resigned that appointment to travel to USA where she resides till date.
Akparawa Offiong Otu, was the Manager Mboho Unity School for Seven years. 2001 – 2007 He was also a one time Secretary Planning Committee of 1995, Obong Sampson Udo Etuk Annual Lecture. Member Planning Committee, Obong Sampson Udo Etuk Annual Lecture/Excellence Awards 2007.
Obong Sampson Udo Etuk Annual Lecture/Excellence Awards Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio has promoted and practiced the dictum that, ‘honour should be given to whom honour is due’ This has led to the promotion of excellence by organizing an Annual Award ceremonies called “The Obong Sampson Udo Etuk Lecture/Excellence Awards” during which Nsit Ubium Chapter, Past Chapter Chairmen were honoured.
In the immediate past Exco, led by Akparawa (Elder) Nse Ubeh, Nsit Ubium Chapter is being represented by the following in the Central Working Committee (CWC).

In that strength, we can conveniently build a befitting Secretariat to our selves.
