Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Europe Restructured

The International President of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio Akparawa (Elder) Monday Etokakpan has announced the restructuring of the body in Europe as follows:

  • The four chapters of London, Manchester, Heathrow and Essex now constitute the nucleus of what is now known as The UK High Commission. This is to provide focus in the drive to develop many more chapters in the United Kingdom while intensifying coordination activities in other European countries where new High Commissions will be established in due course.
  • There shall be 5 officers in each High Commission namely High Commissioner, Deputy High Commissioner, Secretary to the Commission, Director of Protocol to the President and an Ex-officio who shall be the Immediate Past High Commissioner to make for continuity and smooth succession similar to what obtains in the International Executive Council where the Immediate Past President and Immediate Past Secretary General remain statutorily as members of the council at every point in time.
  • The new UK High Commission officers are: Akparawa Udeme Udo -High Commissioner; Akparawa anwan Grace Akpakpan- Deputy High Commissioner; Akparawa Imo Itieimo – Secretary to the Commission; Akparawa Eno Etesin – Director of Protocol to Mr President UK Commission and Akparawa ( Bishop) Edemekong Ekong, Ex-officio and Immediate Past High Commissioner.

This restructuring had earlier been approved for immediate implementation by the Central Working Committee during its September 2014 session which held at Udo udoma House International Headquarters of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
While the new structure is applicable to all other commissions the respective officers will be announced shortly where ever there are changes.
